Philosophy & Mission

Our Philosophy

The philosophy of National Prep is to create opportunities for young men and women who will be capable of achieving new academic experiences and opportunities; not simply repeating what other generations have done, but learning from those previous generations and becoming young men and women who are critical thinkers and discoverers. National Prep provides students with an excellent high school educational experience that includes broadening their life experiences and understanding the global community in which they belong.

Our Mission

The mission of our public charter high school is to offer a rigorous, standards-based, college-preparatory curriculum, to maximize our students' academic achievement, to provide an interdisciplinary curriculum that combines international studies themes that would offer an opportunity for an International Baccalaureate (IB) education, and to prepare our students to be self-directed, lifelong learners equipped to be engaged citizens of their school, community, country, and world.

Class of 2017 Update:  members of the Class of 2017 have, so far, received acceptance offers from 62 different colleges & universities and have earned more than $3.2 million in merit based scholarships!  Outstanding job Class of 2017!
