About the Graduating Class of 2014

National Prep graduated 100% of its seniors at Howard University’s Cramton Auditorium on June 16, 2014. All of our graduates were accepted to colleges and universities throughout the country are receiving a combined amount of scholarship and grant money totaling more than $3,749,680.

Of note is our first POSSE Scholarship Niko Darby and our first cohort of IB Diploma Recipients. Presiding over the ceremony was Jonathan Capehart, of the Washington Post editorial board and contributor on MSNBC. Mr. Capehart spoke incredible words of wisdom and thrilled our class by taking their picture from the stage with this camera!

About the Class of 2013!

National Prep’s founding class of 53 students was accepted to colleges and universities throughout the country; this translates to a 100% college acceptance rate of our students. Our alumni received a combined amount of scholarship and grant money totaling more than $700,000.00.

Eric Holder, who is the first African American United States Attorney General, spoke to the class of 2013 at their commencement service at Howard University’s Cramton Auditorium on June 10th , 2013. He shared words of wisdom and encouragement, giving our students additional affirmation that they are the future leaders of the world, and can make a difference.
