National Collegiate Preparatory students have the opportunity to take honors classes in each grade and IB classes in the upper grades, eleventh and twelfth, college prep courses including the Princeton Review SAT Prep, and electives to include art and music. To enhance their academic experiences, National Collegiate Prep students also have the opportunity to take international business, IB psychology and participate in various international cultural activities and travel to broaden their global experiences.

Collegiate Summer Program
Incoming ninth-grade students participate in our Collegiate Summer program to provide a comprehensive orientation of the rigorous academic program of National Collegiate Preparatory.

NCP IB Institute
Tenth grade honor students participate in a three-week long program during the summer to promote and prepare students for the IB Diploma Programme during the school year.

Spring Training
All National Collegiate Prep students participate in a six-week session during winter of the school year promote improved test taking skills and improve skills in both reading and math. This session occurs during the school day in seminar classes.

SAT & ACT College Preparedness
All National Collegiate Preparatory juniors are enrolled in a SAT & ACT preparation class to ensure that they master the skills required by the important college admissions test and have practiced test-taking.

Saturday Academy
National Collegiate Preparatory sophomores participate in a seven-week skill building class on Saturday.  For three hours each Saturday, students work with teachers in each content area to include, STEM, geometry and English to improve skills and give additional academic support for their classes. During this period, every sophomore has a one-on-one meeting with the National Collegiate Preparatory Administration to discuss their academics thus far to include grades, school attendance, standardized test scores and IB Diploma.

National Collegiate Prep was authorized as an IBO World school February 2012. National Collegiate Prep will begin the IB Diploma Programme during the 2012-2013 school year. During the summer of 2012 National Collegiate Prep will hold a three-week summer program, the IB Institute for perspective candidates of the IB Diploma Programme.

Advanced Placement Courses
National Collegiate Prep offers two Advanced Placement courses: Biology and United States Government & Politics.  Both are year long courses geared towards preparing students for the Advanced Placement exams in May.  Depending on their score, students have the potential of earning college credit.

Experience International Studies
National Collegiate Prep offers classes and opportunities that focus on International Studies. National Collegiate Prep will participate in our first annual service-learning project in Panama during the spring of 2012.

The class of 2013 will visit the Republic of Panama. During this trip, students will volunteer at a local orphanage, tour the Panama Canal and will be hosted by students if the International School of Panama, an IBO World Studies school.

International Baccalaureate
National Collegiate Preparatory has been authorized as an International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) World School. Students that are successful in the IB Diploma Programme will have an opportunity to complete and earn an IB Diploma upon graduation.
